1989 – 1994 – Outside Counsel for Various Entities Owned by Tom Benson, Former Owner of the New Orleans Saints – Conducted special projects assigned by Tom Benson in connection with his various business and professional sports interests.   

1989 – 1997 – NFL Certified Player Agent – Represented over 50 professional football players as a certified player agent and attorney in contract negotiations with teams in the NFL, CFL, and AFL.

1990 – Buford Jordan v. New Orleans Saints – Associate counsel for J. William Becknell for the New Orleans Saints in the interpretation of NFL Player Contract.

1990 – Bert Jones (NFL QB) – Associate counsel for J. William Becknell for the negotiating return to NFL with the San Diego Chargers and Lloyd’s of London.

1990 – Tim Floyd – NCAA College Coach’s Contract – Associate counsel for J. William Becknell in negotiating the NCAA coach’s basketball contract.

1991 – Lisa Olsen v. New England Patriots – Defended new Patriots football player from harassment allegations by a sportswriter.

1990-1993 – Players v. NFL (Ken Norton et al.) – Represented John Fourcade (QB New Orleans Saints) and Maurice Hurst (DB New England Patriots) in anti-trust litigation against the NFL in connection with the expiration of the collective bargaining agreement between NFL and NFLPA.

1993- Maurice Hurst (DB) – Negotiated4thhighestNFL player contract for defensive backs to date.

1994 – Alphonse v. Omni Hotels, 643 So. 2d 836 (La. 1994) – Obtained Judgment and affirmed by Louisiana Supreme Court for Judgment of $150,000 for improper employment practices claim against Omni Hotel

1994 – Victor Jones (RB) v. Kansas City Chiefs – Grievance arbitration for payment of the remainder of the NFL contract after sustaining a ruptured Achilles tendon.

1994 – Tyrone Hughes – NFL Player Contract New Orleans Saints – Negotiated deferred compensation agreement (Rabbi Trust) for NFL Player Contract for All-Pro Tyrone Hughes

1995 – Maurice Hurst (DB) v. New England Patriots – Grievance arbitration for payment of the remainder of NFL contract after sustaining a herniated cervical disc.

1996 – Maurice Hurst (DB) v. New England Patriots – Successfully prosecuted worker’s compensation claim against New England Patriots after sustaining a herniated cervical disc.

1996 – B & I WELDING SERVICES & CONSULTANTS, INC. V. NORTH STAR AGENCY, INC., 86 F.3d 454 (5th Cir. 1996) – Successfully obtained a $300,000 judgment in the United States 5th Circuit Court of Appeals against Northshore Insurance Agency for failure to procure offshore insurance policy.

1996 – Davis Love, III – PGA Golfer – Negotiated endorsement contract with Davis Love, III for Freeport-McMoRan PGA Golf Tournament.

1996 – Gerry DiNardo -LSU Coach – Negotiated endorsement contract with Gerry DiNardo and LSU Athletic Department for endorsement contract.

1996 – Gerry DiNardo v. Vanderbilt University – Consulting attorney on litigation involving buy-out provision of Gerry DiNardo’s NCAA coaching contract with Vanderbilt University.

1997 – Sugar Bowl – Florida v. Florida State – Negotiate several endorsement agreements with the Collegiate Licensing Company (CLC), NCAA, University of Florida and Florida State.

1997 – Mike Ditka – Coach New Orleans Saints -Negotiated endorsement contracts with Mike Ditka, New Orleans Saints football coach.

1997 – Scott McCarron- PGA Golfer – Negotiated endorsement contract with Scott McCarron for Freeport-McMoRan PGA Golf Tournament.

1998 – 2000 – Counsel for New Orleans Saints Player Programs/Player Engagement – Provided outside counsel services to New Orleans Saints players, providing legal support for off-field legal matters.

1998 – Sugar Bowl – Ohio State v. Florida State – Negotiate several endorsement agreements with the Collegiate Licensing Company (CLC), NCAA, Ohio State and Florida State.

1998 –Brad Faxon – PGA Golfer – Negotiated endorsement contract with Brad Faxon for Freeport-McMoRan PGA Golf Tournament.

1999 – Sugar Bowl – Ohio State v. Texas A & M – Negotiate several endorsement agreements with the Collegiate Licensing Company (CLC), NCAA, Ohio State and Texas A& M.

2003 – Wilson v. Transportation Consultants, Inc., et al., CDC Orleans Parish) – Jury verdict for $200,000 for an injury sustained in an automobile accident caused by an obstructed stop sign.

2005 – Fantasy Football Product Licensed by the NFLPA – Obtained license from the National Football League Players Association (NFLPA) for a Fantasy Football Product.

2005 – 2009 – Hurricane Katrina Insurance Claims – Prosecuted over 1000 Hurricane Katrina homeowners and business claims against insurance companies, collecting over $90,000,000 in insurance payments.

2006- Inter-City Express v Mallory Trucking Group – CDC– Orleans Parish Louisiana 4th Circuit Court of Appeals affirmed a monetary Judgment in favor of a trucking company against a Walmart supplier for a cargo dispute.

2007 – Audubon Orthopedic Clinic v Lafayette Insurance Company – Obtained a Judgment in favor of Audubon Insurance Company against Lafayette Insurance Company for business loss, property damages, Penalties and attorney fees for deficient payment of insurance proceeds from Hurricane Katrina.

2008 – 2012 –Hurricane Gustov Homeowners and Business Loss Claims -Prosecuted over 50 Hurricane Katrina homeowners and business claims against insurance companies, collecting over $5,000,000+ in insurance payments.

2010 – AUDUBON ORTHOPEDIC AND SPORTS MEDICINE APMC v. LAFAYETTE INSURANCE COMPANY – The Louisiana 4th Circuit Court of Appeals obtained a jury verdict of $267,890.65 for an orthopedic clinic in its Hurricane Katrina insurance claim against Lafayette Insurance Company for business loss as well as penalties.

2010 – 2015 – Deepwater Horizon – BP Gulf of Mexico Oil Spill – Prosecuted and settled over 100 BP Claims for over $15,000,000 arising from the April 20, 2010 explosion of the oil drilling rig Deepwater Horizon, operating in the Macondo Prospect in the Gulf of Mexico.

2011– La Louisiane Bakery Co. v. Lafayette Ins. Co. – 61 So.3d 1283 (La. App. 5 Cir. 2011), the Louisiana 5th Circuit Court of Appeals affirmed the jury verdict for $107,481 plus statutory penalties for a Harahan bakery against an insurance company for losses arising from Hurricane Katrina.

2011-2015 – Hurricane Isaac Homeowners and Business Loss Claims – Prosecuted over

100 Hurricane Isaac homeowners and business claims against insurance companies collecting over $10,000,000.00 in insurance payments.

2015 – Valarie B. Hohensee v. National General Assurance Company. – 24 JDC – Jefferson Parish – Jury Verdict for $98,266.99 in favor of an injured driver against the insurance company for a contested automobile accident.

2016 – 2022 – Baton Rouge Flood-Prosecuted and settled over 100 FEMA flood insurance claims arising from the flood in the greater Baton Rouge area on August 15, 2016.

2019 – Jon B. Levens v. Kim Weber Choina. – 24th JDC. -Jefferson Parish- Obtained a judgment against an employee of a printing company for a breach of contract and theft for $81,486.06 and subsequently collected judgment in a garnishment of a life insurance policy.

2021 – Jasper Bibbs – LSU Asst. Basketball Coach – Negotiate with LSU the buyout of coaches contract of LSU Asst. Basketball Coach for Jasper Bibbs prior to termination of contract of Will Wade as head basketball coach.   

2021 – 2025 – Hurricane Ida Insurance Claims – Prosecuted and settled over 500 insurance claims for homeowners and businesses for property damages and business losses arising from Hurricane Ida occurring on August 29, 2021

2022 – First Christian Church of the Greater NOLA -Dr. Stephen Thompson – Counsel for the sale of First Christian Church of Greater New Orleans Area located at 6200 Saint Charles Avenue New Orleans, Louisiana, for $1,750,000.

2024 – Negotiation of NIL Contracts – Negotiated Name Image and Likeness (NIL)contracts for Chandler Fields (QB) – University of Louisiana – Lafayette

2025 – Copyright infringement Litigation – Elton Newman “Lil Elt” v. Keith Johnson & KEI-TE Publishing, Inc. – Obtained a declaratory judgment for the rapper “Lil ELT” for full intellectual property and creative rights of the rap song “Get The Gat” as assigned to BMI records.
